    Private trackers need us!

what would private torrent sites be without forums like this?

i hardly believe they would have 3/4 of the amount of users they have now without torrent invite forums. Private trackers frown upon us because we sell, trade and give away invites and accounts. in a way we help their content and their level and every seeder/leecher = more activity on their sites.

    what do you think?

I think the same thing. If I invited all of my real life friends to any of my trackers 97% of them would be banned for low ratio, hit & runs, and/or inactivity. I'd loose my invite privileges or worse. I trust total strangers I meet on the net more than my real life friends with my invites.

ti.org + the rest of other invite forums = aproximately 10.000 to 30.000 users from which only half maybe got 1 invite or more.
So I'd say only 1% to 2% ...maybe 5% at the very most got their invite from a forum like ti.org, the rest got it from their friends.

Only SCC has around 30,000 unique active users and only a very small percentage got their invite/account from a forum like this one.
We don't have such a huge impact.

But we are still growing, maybe 1 year from now there will be 70,000 members on ti.org and that will change the statistics to 5-8% getting their invite on trackers from forums like this.

If someone would ask me if ti.org is good for trackers I would have to say yes, at least 5% of the users I invited also donated. And at least 70% respected all the rules.

But maybe I am just wrong about the numbers.

People usually don't really like to pay for trackers because it beats the point of sharing, however what people buy should be sold, its not like anyone is forcing anyone to buy.
Ti.org and forums like this one is just side-effect of closing the sign-up. For example if hdbits.org was always open nobody would buy it and so goes for the rest of trackers.

If all private trackers were to open sign-up then forums like this wouldn't need to exist, but it would beat the point of them being private/closed trackers.

If you are a guy who doens't like to buy/trade/sell/request from giveaway/sign-up and mantain ratio then go to www.thepiratebay.org and enjoy!

My actual friends in reality know nothing about torrenting and would rather download viruses off of the TPB. So I usually do invite respectable members of some online communities that I frequent.
