FUGITIVE Ronald Kelly, who had been on the run since early Saturday morning after fleeing the Darwin Correctional Centre, has been caught.

It is understood Kelly was found by police at a residence in Woodroffe.

The fugitive had been on the run for almost a week.

He was the final escapee to be caught after three prisoners fled the facility last week.

Kelly, 26, had previously escaped custody twice and was found hiding in a roof cavity in Palmerston before police tasered and arrested him in 2015.
