A MAN was rushed to hospital last night after he was blasted in a shooting in west Dublin.

The man, 30, was brought to Tallaght Hospital after being injured in the firearms incident at around 10.30pm.

The man is recovering in Tallaght Hospital

His condition is not currently known.

Gardai in Ronanstown have launched an investigation.

A spokesperson said: “Gardai in Ronanstown are investigating a firearms incident that occurred last night, Sunday October 14, 2018 at approximately 10.30pm.

“A man, 30 years, was injured and removed to Tallaght Hospital and investigations are ongoing.”
