The Israeli company Imagesat International (iSi) published space images of the Russian airbase Khmeimim in Syria, where, presumably, the location of the newest Russian Su-57 fighters was fixed, Haaretz reports.

iSi is the operator of two EROS (Earth Remote Observation Satellite) satellites. The images provided by Haaretz were made by the Eros B satellite. They can see the aircraft standing in the parking lot, the outlines of two of them resemble the silhouettes of Russian Su-57s. The edition did not specify when the pictures were taken.

The publication notes that the Russian fifth-generation fighters are not yet ready for full-fledged use, most likely it involves publication, they will be tested in real conditions, but it is not yet clear whether they will fully participate in combat missions.

Earlier, a representative of the Pentagon told RBC that the US does not consider the Russian Su-57 a threat to its operations in Syria. In the international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States also said that they do not consider Russian fifth-generation fighters as a threat.

Su-57 (factory index T-50, a promising aviation complex of front-line aviation - PAK FA) is a multifunctional fighter of the fifth generation. The development of the aircraft was carried out by the Joint Design Bureau named after PO Sukhoy. The characteristics of the aircraft are not disclosed, but it is known that it can carry weapons of the air-to-air and air-to-ground class.
