A MEMBER of the Royal family has managed to avoid breaking royal protocol after she decided to ditch her heels and enjoy a stroll on the beach.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland on a whirlwind tour where they both went on a quiet walk on the beach.

Camilla, 70, kicked off her heels to join Charles for the stroll along the sand at Derrynane beach in County Kerry.

Charles kept his shoes on as they enjoyed their time together.

The royal couple, who are on the second day of their visit, have been happily married for 13 years now.

Camilla wore an emerald green jacket and flowing skirt with a taupe shawl around her neck, while Charles wore a grey suit with a bright pink, black and cream tie, light lavender shirt and pink flower on his lapel.

But Camilla managed to avoid breaking royal protocol as she walked along the beach, as she kept her nude stockings on as she walked along the sand.

All royal women in the family are required to wear tights during public occasions as part of their dress code.

Since they arrived, Camilla and Charles have visited a guide dog centre in Cork.

As animal lovers, they played with guide dog puppies and dogs in training.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall also went to the English Market in Cork, where they unveiled a new plaque.

They also did a guided tour of the home of the 19th century Irish lawyer and politician Daniel O’Connell, who campaigned for rights for all Irish people. They also went to Muckross House on in Killarney.

After visiting Belfast on Tuesday the couple went to Omagh on Wednesday, visiting the scene of the Omagh bombings.

They reflected in silence at a memorial garden dedicated to 29 people and two unborn babies killed in the August 1998 blast.

The Duchess of Cornwall was reportedly spotted a pair of leather heels designed for ‘ladies who can’t wear heels’ and are created by brand Sole Bliss, Woman & Home reports.

These shoes are for women with bunions and retail for $A265.88.

She is understood to have worn a pair of Sole Bliss shoes on her last trip to Northern Ireland with Prince Charles in May last year.

The couple were recently seen at the Queen’s 92nd birthday celebrations that involved the Trooping the Colour Parade.

She arrived with and stood next to Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, at the event where Meghan Markle made her first appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Prince Harry and his new wife joined the pageantry of the annual Trooping the Color ceremony.

The duke and duchess, who married three weeks ago, made the short trip from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade in a horse-drawn carriage as royal fans lining the Mall cheered and waved. After the event, the couple joined other members of the royal family on the palace’s front balcony to watch the Royal Air Force fly by.
