As part of the new presidential term of Vladimir Putin, spending on health, education and infrastructure development is planned to be increased by 10 trillion rubles, Bloomberg writes

As reported by Bloomberg referring to interlocutors familiar with the situation, after the inauguration on May 7, the president intends to sign a decree, in which the tasks for the next six years will be scheduled. In particular, it is about the development of the health care system, education, and infrastructure, for which it is planned to spend an additional 10 trillion rubles. ($ 162 billion). All this should lead to a "decisive breakthrough" in raising the standard of living of citizens, the sources said.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not comment on Bloomberg's information on the plans of the authorities.

On March 27, the head of the Accounting Chamber, Tatyana Golikova, said at an enlarged meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Finance that the implementation of the strategic tasks set by Putin within the framework of the message to the Federal Assembly would require, in the next six years, 8 trillion rubles. At the same time, she pointed out that this requires growth rates of the economy above 4% per year. "The current state programs do not cover the resources of the regions," Golikova stressed.
