Which Is The Best Way To Buy Bitcoins?

As we all know, Bitcoin is getting more and more popular nowadays!

And it's been tracker's (and TI's) favorite donation method the last 1-2 years or so. Bitcoin is the most anonymous payment method by far, so it's a must have since the rest services (PayPal etc) and not really friendly with "pirates"/downloaders!

There are MANY different ways to purchase Bitcoins, via Credit Card, via PayPal and other methods as well...

But let's try to find out the best methods out there. The fastest, safest and of course with the lowest possible fee.

Since different methods are working on different countries, we better specify the process on those different locations

    Thanks for the reply man...

But did you ever use any of those? I can also use google and find 100 different sites. The point is to post here some sites we have already used and we know FOR SURE they are trusted.

And of course to post the whole procedure if possible (how fast they send the funds, the fee they keep etc)

    Hi

In the UK I have used https://www.coincorner.com

Setting up was quite easy with a credit card but did take a couple of days as they take a small random amount say 4p from the card which you then have to report back to complete the setup. My online banking only refreshes once a day and as I started the set up at the weekend the whole thing probably took longer than it should.

Once it was setup it's been easy to use, not sure if they have a minimum buy but I bought GBP25 with no problems and have had no problems spending it.

They offer apps for iOs, Android and Windows as well and I have found the iOs one works great.

They publish a list of fees on the website but I did have to scroll to the small print at the bottom to find the link.

So bottom line if you are in the UK (I believe they operate in Germany as well) I am happy to recommend them.

This verification process sucks though. I am wondering if there are any ways to buy Bitcoins with a credit card INSTANTLY...

I am from Singapore and I am using Coinbase. But I think Coinbase covers quite a number of countries.

Just register a wallet from Coinbase either going to the website or using an Android or IOS app (however, it seems that to verify your number, you will need to use the website if you are outside US). To register, you are required to submit some form of photo ID as well (ie, ID card, driving license or passport).

After registering for the wallet, you will need to change your location and set up a payment method. I use internet bank transfer and it only took me less than 1 hour to transfer from my bank and convert it into bitcoin.

    Hope this helps.

Just saw this thread, a couple of months ago I wanted to buy some Bitcoin and wasn't really safe with these online methods that seemed complicated to me...

I looked up and found this website : http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-atm-map/ where you can easily locate a Bitcoin ATM near you.

Went up to a Bitcoin ATM on my way home from work, I scanned my wallet bar code on my iPhone, inserted money into the machine and got my Bitcoins credited right away.

Bitcoin rates differ from a place to another but it is usually the actual rate + 4% fees.

Easiest and safest way to buy Bitcoin for sure,

    Hope this helps,

True. It makes it easy if somebody has a BTC ATM near him...

Some ATMs support withdrawals as well. Unfortunately not all.

    https://localbitcoins.com/

Create an account and get a wallet. That's it. Multiple payment options including cash deposit only, bank wire deposit, etc. Very large community, reasonable prices buying/selling.
