A VIDEO in which Barack Obama seemingly calls Donald Trump a “dipsh*t” has gone viral.

In reality though, it is Oscar-winner Jordan Peele, using technology powered by artificial intelligence, called ‘deepfakes’ to warn people against believing everything they read or see.

Deepfakes are digitally-altered videos that create human masks which are then overlaid on top of real footage.

“We’re entering an era in which our enemies can make it look like anyone is saying anything at any point in time — even if they would never say those things,” the fake Obama says in the video.

“So, for instance, they could have me say things like, I don’t know, (Black Panther’s) Killmonger was right, or Ben Carson is in the sunken place.”

“Or, how about this: Simply, President Trump is a total and complete dipsh*t,” he said.

Get Out director Peele worked with BuzzFeed, which said it took 56 hours to make the video using programs like Adobe After Effects and FakeApp.

“It may sound basic, but how we move forward in the age of information is going to be the difference between whether we survive or whether we become some kind of f**ked-up dystopia,” Peele says as his face appears side-by-side with Obama’s in the video.

The FakeApp technology has been used create fake porn where the faces of actresses Daisy Ridley, Emma Watson and Cara Delevingne seemingly star.
