According to the firm’s Chairman Jonney Shih, the company is working on creating a “feature packed wearable device” and has put its entire design thought into creating this gadget because “there are actually many challenges in this area.”

No other details were given and all we can is speculate what ASUS’ watch will be all about. Chances are it will come with a standard suite of notifications, small apps and widgets, all while relying on a smartphone to connect to the Internet.

It would be interesting to see whether this watch can get some special features to make it sing better with the Padfone series. ASUS could add a microphone inside its watch to allow folks to accept calls on their wrist when their Padfone is in the tablet mode.
