I was wondering which hosts big torrent sites who have been online for a long time use. So after a bit of investigation this is what i found:

• BTN: nforce
• SCC: OVH
• IPT: avk.co.in
• what.cd: ??
• HDBits: OVH
• PTP: Carat Networks
• BCG: OVH

Now many trackers nowadays are understandably hiding behind cloudflare but i am wondering how well the hosts themselves protect their user information and if they care about dmca complaints.
IPT is the one that really pops out because besides having a fake company created by the owner as the host, all the owner personal info was already leaked a long time ago. So i guess being in russia helps a lot if you want to be untouchable when it comes to piracy. Needless to say that the site is also hosted in russia.
BTN seems to use NFOrce but after reading this im not sure what to think of it.
OVH also seems to be widely used, and when you think about it logically, it's in their best interest to keep pirates happy. They earn a huge amount of money from piracy but then again, how far would they go to protect their customers?

avk.co.in is a site in India. It's got nothing to do with IPT. AVK-Computer Ltd from Russia is the company behind it.
I believe the smartest thing to do is to avoid all western countries.

How did you find the host behind CloudFlare?
