I am looking for the best way of accessing a big movie archive.

I have seen several threads asking for the best movie tracker according to their pre-times. However, I am not really looking for the best pre-times, since most of the times it is a difference of minutes or I am looking for an already-released movie anyways.

Instead, I am looking for the biggest movie archive - that is, the one that has more movies available, even if they are old. Of course, new movies should also be available, I just don't care if I need to wait for a couple minutes or even hours.

Anyone got any recommendations for a tracker that has tons of movies (ideally still with lots of active seeders) even if its an old movie?
(maybe I should just go to public trackers for that? If so, which one?)

For now I usually just go to isohunt or TPB, but I would welcome suggestions if any of you have had a great experience with any certain tracker.

well for oldish movies ptp does have a lot, but for new movies i usually use ipt and tl, they are great sites for movies and obviously have a lot, and easy to maintain a good ratio on also there are may other movie trackers like scc etc, but ipt and tl are the best for me just depends what movies you are looking for but them trackers have a lot...

Oldies = KG , CG
New Movies = SCC , TL , IPT , PTP , tehconnection

You just need acces to the real scene - those FTP servers have like 100-200 tb of movies/tv-shows and so on

And if you dont Care about speed and so on, Then try demonoid they have anything you need

This might sound surprising to you, but I was actually a scener a few years back. I helped with some scripting&admin, was a member at an awesome ASCii artist group, and did a few more things I shouldn't really write about in public got free leech n stuff It was great but I stopped being active and eventually quit..
However nowadays i've lost my contacts and its really difficult (or at least, 5-6y ago it was for me) to get into a big site ring with a proper movie archive
But I agree that that really is the ideal solution I just lack the proper contacts and time to get back in at that "level"

bu people do care alot about speed as on most open trackers you are gonna get some rubbish speeds and take a long time to download so just depends how fuzzy you are but like the trackers i mentioned your gonna get good speeds with freeleech torrents and that leading to a easy build of ratio
