It just seems that nothing can go wrong for WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch. Even an inadvertent face punch by Nia Jax couldn't stop her. It was the opposite that happened. The punch that bloodied Becky catapulted her to superstardom. She became the talk of the town, even managing to trump former UFC champion Ronda Rousey. Renowned MMA journalist like Ariel Helwani also sang praises for 'The Man'. Now she has bagged another big award and along the way created history.

Becky has become the first woman ever to top the ESPN’s WWE Power Rankings. Yes, she has toppled the likes Charlotte Flair, Rousey and Alexa Bliss. The last 4 months have been nothing short spectacular for Becky. Since turning heel at SummerSlam in August, the Irish Lasskicker has been the 'must-see' performer of any episode she is on. She has become the most popular wrestler in the whole of WWE and even a rumoured main event of WrestleMania next year. Becky responded to the news on Twitter, saying that, “The first woman ever to top the ESPN Power Rankings? You’re damn right I am, and we’re only getting warmed up.”

Becky made her return on last week's episode of SmackDown Live after being out for two weeks due to a concussion and facial injury. Recent reports stated that Becky is cleared to wrestle and it turned out to be true as her next championship match was made official. She will defend her Women's Championship at Table, Ladders and Chairs PPV against Charlotte Flair and Asuka. 'The Empress of Tomorrow' booked her ticket for the match after winning a Battle Royal in the main event of SmackDown.

The other athletes in the top ten rankings are Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Drew McIntyre, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar.
