Team Canada's India Sherret suffered a scary crash in the final runs of the women's ski cross. The Canadian was off to a strong start when she began to lose her balance after one jump. She tried to get both of her skis back on the ground, but she wasn't able to regain her balance before the next jump. She flew through the air before crashing hard on her back.

Medics quickly attended to Sherret, but the extent of her injuries was unknown. She was seen being mobile and was taken off the course to be treated.

Her teammate Christopher Del Bosco crashed earlier this week and was taken to the hospital in the qualifying runs of men's ski cross, and he suffered a broken pelvis as well as four broken ribs. Those watching at home were quick to send their thoughts to Sharrett, hoping she is OK after that scary moment.

Watching some ski cross and the races were uneventful - not close. Then we had someone on their back finishing the race and then sadly India Sherret crashing out. Looked bad. Hopefully ok. Means Emily Sarsfield has gone through to next round #WinterOlympic
