Spurs join race for PSG's Rabiot

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in the hunt for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, joining other big clubs who want the 23-year-old France international.

According to the Mirror, Spurs are in the bidding for Rabiot once the January transfer window opens despite PSG's efforts to keep him.

Rabiot is in the final year of his deal with the Ligue 1 champions and the club is resigned to losing the player. Other clubs who are keeping tabs on Rabiot reportedly include Barcelona and Liverpool.

Ramsey to leave Arsenal, agents say in deleted tweets...

Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal on a free transfer after a new contract offer was pulled last week and his agents, Avid Sports & Entertainment Group, confirmed on social media how it all went down -- before quickly deleting their replies.

"He didn't want to leave, but now there is no other option," read one post.

Liverpool are reportedly among Ramsey's preferred destinations, while Juventus and Real Madrid have also been linked in recent weeks. And of course with outgoing Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis heading to AC Milan, the Italian giants will be high up on the list too.

... and Welbeck could follow

Danny Welbeck might follow Ramsey out of the Emirates, the Mirror reports.

Welbeck is in the final year of his deal with Arsenal and can begin talking with foreign clubs in January. The England striker and the Gunners are reportedly not close to a new deal, but the club is looking to avoid a similar stalemate that they've found themselves in with Ramsey.

'Argentine Hazard' keen on Arsenal

Argentina and Velez Sarsfield winger Matias Vargas has been tipped as the next Eden Hazard and has given Arsenal a boost by declaring his love for the club, according to the Daily Star.

Vargas, 21, was asked by Argentina TV show La Llave de Gol which team he'd choose between Bayern Munich, Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG or Liverpool. He simply responded: "The Arsenal."

At least someone wants to join...

PSG keen on Pogba

Another day, another Paul Pogba rumour. This one comes from the Sun, reporting that French champions PSG are interested in signing the Manchester United midfielder.

Tensions between Pogba and Jose Mourinho have been well covered, not least what seemed like a tiff in training that was caught on camera. And the Sun reported Tuesday that the player is desperate to leave Old Trafford.

Earlier this week, talk of a move to Barcelona heated up. The Barcelona board was said to be split over bringing the World Cup winner in, but they remain open to such a move after club CEO Oscar Grau backed under-pressure coach Ernesto Valverde to turn things around following a three-game winless run.

And now PSG have joined the race, although the club's plans could be under threat amid additional financial fair play investigations into their activity.

Tap-ins

- David Luiz's Stamford Bridge renaissance will be rewarded with a new contract, according to the Evening Standard.

Frozen out by Antonio Conte, the Brazil international has been restored to Chelsea's starting lineup by Maurizio Sarri and has responded with a string of imperious performances as part of a back four.

- Swedish outlet FotbollDirekt is adamant that Blagult captain Andreas Granqvist is being targeted by Manchester United.

With Mourinho's out-of-sorts side in desperate need of tightening up in defence, the 33-year-old centre-back is being touted as a short-term loan solution at Old Trafford.
