Rob Gronkowski is nothing but supportive for his teammate and fellow tight end Martellus Bennett.

During Super Bowl 51, Gronkowski was sidelined after having back surgery, which meant Bennett needed to fill some big shoes. Not only did Bennett step up, but he was a key factor in the Patriots' comeback against the Falcons.

Now that Bennett is an unrestricted free agent, Gronkowski wants the best for him, which includes a giant paycheck.

Gronkowski said it was tough for him to sit on the bench while he watched his team play in the Super Bowl, but was proud of them nonetheless.

"I mean it's definitely tough, I ain't gonna lie, when you're watching them play," Gronkowski said. "But those are my boys. You want the best for them. They fight all year. They give everything they have. … It was just an honor, celebrating with them. There's always next year. I'll be ready to roll and try to go for another one."
