Barcelona was more than impressive on Saturday in El Clasico, allowing Real Madrid's attack to do nothing as Luis Suarez shined in the 4-0 win. The visitors are now in full control of La Liga and earned a big momentum boost from the result and by seeing Lionel Messi return. Here are three things to know.

1. It was nothing short of dominant, while highlighting flaws of the host.
It's safe to say most thought this match would be close, especially with Barcelona's best player, Messi, starting the match on the bench. But it couldn't have been more one-sided. For the first time since 1990, Real Madrid falls 4-0 at home, while showing nothing in the midfield. The defense was caught ball-watching too much and nobody in the midfield served as the engine of the team. It was the team's worst display in years.

2. Barca's teamwork is from another world, Real Madrid's doesn't exist.
Watch the third goal from Andres Iniesta carefully below. At 52:14 you see Iniesta gain possession of the ball, then play a pass to Neymar. Track the run of Iniesta to receive the ball off a clever flick from Neymar before drilling it into the net. That is what Barca does. It's as if they know where every player will be at all times and what their tendencies are, and it's why they dominate. Real Madrid did nothing of the sort all night long, and that's why Barcelona, for now, is king.

3. Barca opens up a six-point gap above Real Madrid for first place in La Liga.
It's still so, so early because we are only in November, and the league doesn't end till May, but a gap of six points in November could prove to be pivotal when it is all said and done. With Messi returning, it's hard to imagine Barcelona slipping up too much this season, and with Real Madrid's showing, it's difficult to see a team that can overcome this Barca team. This match perfectly highlighted what Barca does right and what Real Madrid does wrong. Now, that's not to say Real Madrid is out of the title race. After all, like I said, it's early. But this isn't a display of champions.
