Posta Rangers have continued to relish the performance of two of their players who formed part of the concurring Harambee Stars squad that lifted the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup over the weekend.

The tournament’s Most Valuable Player and Golden Glove winner, Patrick Matasi and defender Jockins Atudo steered Stars to their first Cecafa title in four years with splendid performances at the two-week games.

Matasi conceded only two goals in the entire tournament in regulation time while Atudo formed a formidable partnership with Gor Mahi captain, Musa Mohammed at the back.

These performances did not go unnoticed by top officials of Posta Rangers.

Club chairman John Tonui took time to heap praise of the performances of the duo: “On our two players, Matasi (Patrick) and Atudo (Jockins), we are happy as a club. They are our soldiers and represented us well. The club is delighted with the kind of performance and fighting spirit they put in for Stars. We are happy!”
“As Posta, we shall continue to offer support to the national team in any way possible. We are elated with their performance in the tournament and wish them the very best in future international assignments.” added Tonui in his congratulaory message to Harambee Stars
