SNEAKY Panama tried to take advantage of England celebrations after their second goal in a 6-1 round, by taking an early kick off.

The North American outfit cunningly tried to get themselves back into it in ludicrous fashion with every England outfield star inside the opposition half celebrating Harry Kane’s penalty goal.

One Panama man quickly grabbed hold of the ball and sprinted to the centre spot as he urged his teammates to quickly join him in getting forward.

He then kicked off by passing to a colleague who then ran through towards goal with just goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to beat.

But he only got halfway down the pitch before the referee’s whistle stopped him in his tracks.

Nice try, fellas!

What was nice was seeing how much hearing the national anthem at a World Cup means to them.

The 6-1 thrashing was England’s biggest-ever World Cup finals win, and they will breeze through to the knockout stage after two games.

A hat-trick from captain Harry Kane — which means he is now the leading scorer in the tournament with five goals — two from John Stones and a stunner from Jesse Lingard completed the crushing victory.

Kane’s man-of-the-match display had those cheeky social media types in no doubt that Kane > Messi, the stats don’t lie!

Panama, appearing at the first ever World Cup, are one of the tournament’s minnows, but that doesn’t make the English faithful, and former Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher, aren’t getting a little carried away.

Still though, you’ve got to admit, the celebrations back in the UK are hard to top.

In the day’s other games, Japan and Senegal shared the points in a 2-2 draw that means each only need to draw their final group game to make the round of 16.

The other Group H clash saw red-hot Colombia put Poland to the sword, sending the European’s packing from the World Cup after a 3-0 result in Kazan in front of their greatest ever players.

The result caps a disastrous World Cup for world No.8 Poland, who became the first European team knocked out of the tournament.

But what could make their exit even more embarrassing? Well …

BEST MOMENT:
It’s easy to forget that football is all about having fun. So, without further ado, we present to you a Senegal national team training session.

BEST GOAL:
England fire six past Panama, but there was none better than this dipping, curling effort from Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY:

GOOD

Forget Harry Kane, this man is England’s real hero.

BAD

UGLY

How’s this for classless? After Germany came from behind to stun Sweden, two German officials couldn’t help themselves taunting their rivals.
