MICHAEL Caruso will roll out with a fresh livery as Supercars makes its debut at The Bend Motorsport Park this weekend.

His No. 23 Nissan Altima will carry the colours of Industrial Athlete workwear apparel at the OTR SuperSprint — The Bend.

The Industrial Athlete brand, Nissan Motorsport’s apparel supplier since last year, is a division of ADA, the over 100-year-old company that supplies the Australian Defence Force with uniforms, protective clothing and ceremonial dress.

“I love the look of the Industrial Athlete Nissan,” Caruso said. “It looks super aggressive even just standing still.

“You need the right gear to perform at your best, and that extends to what the team wears at the racetrack and in the workshop. The whole team raves about the Industrial Athlete workwear. So to have them on the car is really exciting.”

The colours are a departure from the teal of Drive.com.au, the automotive website continuing its association with the team as Industrial Athlete takes over naming rights of Caruso’s Altima.

In addition to the new look, LEGEAR and Industrial Athlete are running a competition that will see two fans win the chance to experience the Ultimate Adventure valued at over $5000, honing their skills with an ex AFP Sniper, sit around the campfire hearing stories from VC recipient Daniel Keighran, and battle Nissan Motorsport co-owners Todd and Rick Kelly around the dunes on their farm.

“The car looks outstanding and we are pleased to reach this opportunity with the team,” Matt Graham, CEO of ADA and Industrial Athlete, said.

“It is also about giving back to the fans and what better opportunity than to bring some prize winners to Rick and Todd’s farm for the trip of a lifetime.”

The new-look No. 23 Nissan Altima will hit the track for the first time during Friday practice at the OTR SuperSprint — The Bend.
