Mal Meninga’s Kangaroos have dominated a 2018 World XIII, as chosen by Rugby League World magazine.

Despite winning only one of their two Tests for the season against Tonga, after losing to New Zealand, the Kangaroos had seven representatives named in the team.

England were the next best country with three representatives, while Tonga finished with two and New Zealand only had one in boom centre Joseph Manu.

Golden Boot winner Tommy Makinson secured one wing position, with the other held by NFL hopeful and former Shark Valentine Holmes.

The NRL premiership winning Roosters side had the most representatives by a club with six, including star fullback James Tedesco, skipper Boyd Cordner and halves Luke Keary and Cooper Cronk.

The World XIII is chosen by journalists, who select their top five players in each position, with the 12th vote given by fans through the TotalRL.com website.
