ISL: Mumbai City FC in advanced talks with Subashish Bose; Sign Souvik Ghosh and Raynier Fernandes

Indian Super League (ISL) side Mumbai City are close to securing deals for Bengaluru FC defender Subashish Bose and two others for the 2018-19 season. Goalhas learnt that the team that finished seventh in the recently concluded ISL season under Alexandre Guimaraes is in advanced talks with Subashish Bose and have signed Jamshedpur full-back Souvik Ghosh and Mohun Bagan's Raynier Fernandes.

Bose, who missed out on Bengaluru's ISL final defeat against Chennaiyin FC due to a suspension, was a first-team regular under Albert Roca and played 18 games for The Blues. The 22-year-old full-back had an impressive season for the ISL runners-up and will be very good addition to Guimaraes' side, provided they can complete the deal.

Souvik Ghosh impressed at left-back in Jamshedpur's backline under Steve Coppell, managing 10 appearances alongside the likes of Tiri and Andre Bikey. The 25-year-old has spent the majority of his career at Mohun Bagan and has had ISL stints at Delhi Dynamos and NorthEast United.

Mohun Bagan's 22-year-old player Raynier Fernandes is also set for his first move away from the Kolkata-based I-League club. The Mumbai-born midfielder's homecoming is after amassing 1004 minutes (17 appearances) for Bagan in the 2017-18 season.

As reported earlier by Goal, Mumbai City have already begun revamping their squad after a disappointing 2017-18 season that saw them miss out on a playoff spot
