Hours after his involvement in a wild melee in Las Vegas, Dillon Danis was firing back at a former UFC champion on Twitter.

Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped the cage after his UFC 229 win over Conor McGregor on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena and went right after McGregor cornerman Danis, who was egging him on. Rafael dos Anjos, the former UFC lightweight champion, took to Twitter to slam Danis on Sunday for being a “nobody.”

In response, Danis, McGregor’s teammate, a Bellator fighter and top Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor, challenged dos Anjos to a fight — apparently in the street.

Nurmagomedov’s actions, as well as three of his teammates jumping into the cage to attempt to attack McGregor, are being investigated by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC). Nurmagomedov’s $2 million guaranteed purse for the McGregor fight is being withhold from the commission pending the probe.

McGregor was arrested in April for his attack on a UFC fighter bus targeting Nurmagomedov. The Irishman, flanked by more than a dozen other men, threw a dolly at the bus, shattering a window, sending glass cascading on UFC fighters following UFC 223 media day in Brooklyn. McGregor pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and avoided jail time.

In this incident, Nurmagomedov is facing a suspension and fine from the commission.
