Dennis Rodman was arrested for DUI in Newport Beach, California, Saturday at about 11 p.m, TMZ.com reports.

Rodman failed a field sobriety test administered by the officers who pulled him over before being handcuffed and taken to the police station, according to the report.

The former NBA star turned neophyte diplomat then blew over the .08 legal limit.

After Rodman spent about seven hours in jail, officers decided he was sober enough to be released.

This is Rodman’s second DUI arrest; his first was in 1999.
