The top two teams qualify for the round of 16, with the third-place team dropping into the Europa League and the bottom club eliminated from Europe.

If two teams are level on points, head-to-head record is the first tie-breaker.

All but one place is already decided for the round of 16, with Lyon and Shakhtar going head to head in Ukraine for the last berth in the knockout rounds of this season's competition. However, there are still top spots -- and a key seeding -- as well as Europa League football to fight for.
