If Saturday night's matchup between the Celtics and Warriors was truly an NBA Finals preview, then we are all in for an incredibly entertaining series.
Golden State held off Boston at Oracle Arena, winning by a final score of 109-105. Stephen Curry (season-high 49 points) and Kyrie Irving (37 points on 13-of-18 shooting) stole the show, trading shots back and forth throughout the game. Curry had 33 points in the second half alone to push the Warriors to the win and get a little payback after a loss to the Celtics back in November.

Kevin Durant scored 20 points after sitting early with foul trouble, and Draymond Green had a nice all-around game with 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocks. Jaylen Brown gave the Celtics an efficient 20 points in 35 minutes, and Al Horford posted a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Sporting News provided live updates throughout Saturday night's game. Check out the highlights from Celtics vs. Warriors below.

Celtics vs. Warriors: Score, results, highlights

Final: Warriors 109, Celtics 105

11:00 p.m. ET — Stephen Curry hits both free throws after the Celtics foul to stop the clock. The Warriors smartly hack Kyrie Irving so the Celtics can't get a 3-point attempt off. Irving hits the first free throw, then tries to miss the second on purpose, but he is called for a violation. Golden State takes the ball back, finds Curry and he closes it out with two free throws.
Whew. Everyone take a deep breath.

10:55 p.m. ET — Terry Rozier hits a 3-pointer! This isn't over yet! The Warriors call a timeout with 7.7 seconds on the clock. Even LeBron James is enjoying this one.
@KyrieIrving & @stephenCurry30 just simply amazing!! Sheesh man! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

10:52 p.m. ET — Kyrie Irving finishes a righty layup for the Celtics on the offensive end, but Boston fouls Stephen Curry to stop the clock. Curry, who is shooting 91 percent from the line this season, hits both free throws to give the Warriors a four-point lead. Warriors 105, Celtics 101 with 10.3 seconds remaining.

10:47 p.m. ET —
WARDELL. STEPHEN. CURRY. After Al Horford misses a short floater in the paint, Curry brings the ball up the floor and lets it fly for a 3-pointer. On Golden State's next offensive possession, he takes a long route to the basket and eventually finds a path to an easy layup.

10:40 p.m. ET —
It looks like the Warriors are going with the "Hamptons Five" lineup to close (Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green). Warriors 92, Celtics 91 with 4:44 left.
10:35 p.m. ET — Back-to-back 3-pointers from Daniel Theis and Kyrie Irving cut the Warriors' lead to one, but Stephen Curry responds with a high layup off the glass to push the lead back to three. Less than six minutes to go in regulation.

10:30 p.m. ET — Time for a random Stephen Curry fun fact!
Stephen Curry has now made at least 5 three-pointers in 5 straight games.

Only one player in NBA history has a longer streak - George McCloud had 6 straight games with 5 threes during the 1995-96 season. pic.twitter.com/vATXsRrikR

10:27 p.m. ET —
It's been a rough night for Jayson Tatum. The rookie has missed seven of his nine attempts from the field in 24 minutes. He's been outstanding in his first season. Just a rough outing against the best team in the NBA.

End of third quarter: Warriors 80, Celtics 73

10:20 p.m. ET — The Warriors take the third quarter, 30-19, behind a scorching performance from Stephen Curry. He dropped 18 points on the Celtics in the third, and he has a game-high 34 points on 13-of-20 shooting (7-of-11 from 3-point range). Boston has failed to hit 20 points in the second and third quarters after exploding for 37 in the first. Irving can't do this all by himself.

10:14 p.m. ET — Stephen Curry is doing Stephen Curry things. The former Davidson star has 15 points in the third quarter alone and 31 points for the game. Since his return from an ankle injury last month, Curry is shooting nearly 50 percent from 3-point range.

10:00 p.m. ET — Something to watch: Kyrie Irving earns his third personal foul with 8:32 left in the third quarter. Doesn't mean he'll foul out, but the Warriors could attack him in the hopes of taking him out of the game.

9:53 p.m. ET —
Stephen Curry drills a jumper, finishes a layup off an assist from Kevin Durant and hits a 3-pointer to kick off the second half. Then Durant dunks with little resistance off the dish from Draymond Green. The Warriors take a 59-57 lead, and Boston needs a timeout. If the Celtics aren't careful, Curry could go nuclear soon.

Halftime: Celtics 54, Warriors 50

9:37 p.m. ET — An entertaining half of basketball. The Warriors hold the Celtics to 17 points in the second quarter to chip away at the lead, but the Celtics still enter the locker room with a four-point advantage. Kyrie Irving (19 points) and Stephen Curry (16 points) have been trading shots with high degrees of difficulty. Keep a close watch on how Boston's bench units perform without Irving on the floor. That's when Golden State made its run.
Oh, by the way, Curry is a cheat code.
Pump fake, step-back, triple! #StephenCurry #DubNation

9:29 p.m. ET — Don't panic, but Kyrie Irving missed a floater. He is human.
9:22 p.m. ET — Kyrie Irving is GOING OFF. The All-Star guard has 19 points on 7-of-7 shooting after a rainbow 3-pointer over the outstretched arm of Kevin Durant. The Celtics answer the Warriors' 10-0 run with their own 8-0 run. Back and forth we go...

9:13 p.m. ET —
The Warriors start off the second with a quick 10-0 run, and Brad Stevens needs a timeout. Lineups without Kyrie Irving have struggled to create offense as of late, and that's exactly what happened here.
Iggy➡️#KlayThompson for the @Warriors oop! #DubNation starts the 2nd quarter on a 10-0 run to tie the game at 37.

End of first quarter: Celtics 37, Warriors 27

9:08 p.m. ET — That was an impressive quarter for the Celtics. Boston shoots 60 percent from the field in the first 12 minutes, and Kyrie Irving and Jaylen Brown outscore the Warriors by themselves, 28-27. Curry leads the Warriors with 13, but he hasn't gotten much help so far.
9:03 p.m. ET — Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry are both hot early. Irving has 14 points on perfect 5-of-5 shooting, and Curry has 12 points, including two bombs from 3-point range.

8:57 p.m. ET —
Kevin Durant picks up his second foul with 4:48 remaining in the first quarter. He didn't agree with the call, but he heads directly to the bench rather than arguing the whistle. Probably a smart move considering he recently got fined $15,000 for his comments about the officiating in the Warriors' win over the Knicks.
8:50 p.m. ET — The Celtics fly out of the gates to a 20-12 lead, and the Warriors call timeout. Jaylen Brown already has seven points, and Al Horford has added five points and three assists. Boston has much more energy to start this one.
8:42 p.m. ET — Jaylen Brown starts off the game with a baseline jam. He's certainly ready to play.
