Pat Shurmur and Case Keenum could come in a package deal this offseason.

According to ESPN, which cited unidentified NFL sources, the Vikings offensive coordinator could bring his soon-to-be free-agent quarterback with him if he were to land a head coaching job outside Minnesota.

ESPN noted that Shurmur is "one of the most in-demand head-coaching candidates" and could be even more appealing to a "quarterback-needy team" given his "close working relationship" with Keenum.

Shurmur, 52, recently met with Giants executives and became the fourth candidate to interview for the team's vacant head coaching job after Ben McAdoo was fired last month. He has also visited with the Cardinals, who will be without Carson Palmer next season after the veteran quarterback announced his retirement earlier this week.

As for Keenum, the 29-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Vikings last March and passed for career highs of 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns during the regular season as he filled in for the injured Sam Bradford.

The Vikings will face the winner of Sunday's Panthers-Saints showdown in the divisional round next Sunday at 4:40 p.m. ET.
