THE Bulldogs have gone some way towards making up lost sponsorship money over the club’s Mad Monday saga after securing a new back-of-jersey sponsor.

Following the disastrous end of season celebrations, the club lost long-term sponsor Jaycar and shorts sponsor Wicked Sister Desserts, believed to total around $850,000.

However, the club has announced Ultimate Security Australia has come on board as a back-of-jersey sponsor for the next three seasons.

“It is fantastic news for the Bulldogs to be able to align ourselves with such a respected brand and one that has an outstanding reputation in the security industry,” said CEO Andrew Hill in a statement released by the club.

“As a club we are looking forward to what lies ahead and to be able to find a new sponsor that shares our excitement and anticipation is great news for the club and its supporters.

“I have greatly enjoyed working with the people at Ultimate Security Australia in the lead in to this announcement and I know that both parties are excited about what the future holds.”

After taking a hit to the pocket with lost sponsorship money as well as an NRL fine for $250,000 (which was later halved on appeal), the news comes as welcome relief to the club.

Ultimate Security Australia chief executive Nassim Said said he was also looking forward to partnering with the Bulldogs.

“The Bulldogs are a club with a rich history and we are excited to be coming on board as a sponsor for the next three years

“We have great faith in the Bulldogs management and team and we hope that our partnership will contribute positively to the sport, and to the communities and fans supporting the club. “We look forward to what the future holds and wish the club all the best in all its endeavours.”
