BRISBANE Lions captain Dayne Zorko has shut down personal social media accounts after one of his feeds appeared to have been hacked.

A picture of the midfielder asleep on a couch was earlier posted on Zorko’s Instagram account, together with a message.

“Thank goodness I know your pass code Dayne...” part of the message read.

The image has been shared widely on other social media platforms.

Zorko’s Instagram and Twitter pages have both been deactivated.

The Brisbane Lions chose not to comment on their player, who yesterday celebrated the Melbourne Cup at the Doomben Racecourse in Brisbane.

The Lions captaincy was handed to the 29-year-old in May when Dayne Beams decided to step down following the death of his father.

Zorko has played 144 games since making his debut in 2012.
