Belgian David Goffin and Portugal's Joao Sousa will contest the final of the Moselle Open in Metz after both men came through their respective semi-finals on Saturday.

Eighth seed Goffin secured just the second ATP World Tour final of his career by beating Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff 7-6 (7/4) 6-3 in 95 minutes.

The 23-year-old hit 14 aces and saved five of the six break points he faced to carry on the fine form that saw him eliminate Jo-Wilfried Tsonga earlier in the week.

Goffin went on to win the title after reaching his first final in Kitzbuhel at the beginning of August, and will be hoping to make it two from two when he takes on Sousa, another steadily improving young player on tour.

Sousa pulled off a big win in his semi-final match, beating 2009 champion Gael Monfils 7-6 (8/6) 6-2 in 90 minutes.

Monfils was wildly inconsistent on serve, firing 13 aces to Sousa's three, but only managed a 54 per cent first-serve percentage throughout the match.

Sousa was able to save all but one of the nine break points he faced while converting three of the five opportunities he created on Monfils' serve.

Like Goffin, Sousa will also be chasing his second Tour title on Sunday.
