BRAZIL star Neymar’s over-the-top diving theatrics haven’t gone unnoticed by soccer fans - and now even advertisers are sinking the boots in.

KFC in South Africa has released a not-so-subtle jab at the soccer icon with a new ad depicting a player’s ridiculous reaction to getting fouled.

In the commercial, the tackling victim rolls all the way from the soccer pitch to the chicken outlet for a meal.

It comes amid a string of internet memes and videos spoofing Neymar’s antics.

The best of them are clips of kids at practice, flipping into full diving and rolling mode when their coach yells out ‘Neymar’.

A Swiss broadcaster even calculated the time Neymar has spent on the ground during his four games at the tournament, clocking the number at 14 minutes.

The Brazil star will be looking to silence the critics and guide his country into the World Cup semi-finals with a win over Belgium early tomorrow morning.
