The Packers aren't counting Aaron Rodgers out for the regular season just yet.

Green Bay is targeting Week 15 against the Panthers for the veteran quarterback to make his return from a broken collarbone, ESPN reported, citing unidentified league sources.

According to the report, the move is contingent on Rodgers being medically cleared and the Packers being in playoff contention.

Rodgers was activated off injured reserve and returned to practice Saturday for the first time since suffering a broken left collarbone on Oct. 15 against the Vikings. He wasn't cleared for full contact in workouts and his next medical scan isn't scheduled until after the Packers play the Browns on Dec. 10. He was, however, seen throwing at Heinz Field before the team's Week 12 loss to the Steelers.

Because of the injured reserve rules, Rodgers can't play for at least two more weeks regardless of his availability.

The Packers (5-6) are slated to host the Buccaneers (4-7) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday before embarking on back-to-back road games at Cleveland (0-11) and Carolina (8-3).
