The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was unveiled today on Xiaomi's Thailand based Facebook page. The phone, which is available starting today only in Thailand, was not introduced in other markets at this time. The device carries a 6.26-inch notched display with a 1080 x 2280 resolution. That works out to an aspect ratio of 19:9. The same Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform that runs the Redmi Note 5 Pro is under the hood along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. Other variants with more RAM and storage could be introduced in the future.

This happens to be the first Xiaomi phone to sport four cameras. On back, you'll find a 12MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary sensor. In front, the dual camera setup weighs in at 20MP + 2MP. Xiaomi is offering a few AI related features for the cameras such as "AI Dynamic Bokeh," "AI Portrait 2.0," "AI Dual Front Camera," and "AI-assisted scene recognition." The latter recognizes 206 scenes across 27 categories, automatically adjusting the camera settings for optimal photos. A 4000mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 8.1 Oreo is pre-installed.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is available in Black, Blue, and Rose Gold, priced at 6,990 Thai baht. Check out some images from Xiaomi's Thailand Facebook page by clicking on the slideshow below.
