It appears that, between Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5, the Xiaomi Mi5 will win the best-selling flagship smartphone for the first half of the year.

Even though Samsung hopes that its new Galaxy S7 will sell better than the Galaxy S6, it's Xiaomi Mi5 that seems to exceed any expectations.
The Chinese company has just confirmed that over 16 million people have registered for the Mi5's first sale, which is scheduled for March 1.
Those who think that this is just the number of registrations and not the actual number of people who pre-ordered the Mi5, let us remind you that this flagship smartphone's price starts at $300.
We believe that, by tomorrow, there might be more than 20 million registrations for the Mi5's first sale, and most of the people who registered will actually acquire the device.
In fact, Xiaomi might have just set a new record since this milestone was achieved in less than a week after Mi5's official reveal.
Be ready to order yours on March 1 According to Xiaomi, the first Mi5 sale begins tomorrow, March 1, at 10AM China time. Customers will be able to pick the white version of Xiaomi Mi5 3GB/32GB and 3GB/64GB models.
It's unclear whether or not Xiaomi will also offer the enhanced edition of the Mi5, or any other versions for that matter.
As for pricing options, the Chinese company has confirmed that the cheapest Mi5 model will cost just $305, and it will come equipped with a 1.8GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
A slightly upgraded variant of the cheaper version will be available for purchase for $350. It will include a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal memory.
Another enhanced version of Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to be made available in China for $415. This should be the most expensive of the three variants and comes with a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
