Vivo X5Pro is the third Android smartphone launched by the Chinese handset maker in India after V1 and V1 Max made their debut in the country earlier this week.

Unlike both of the previous Vivo smartphones, this one will only be available for purchase beginning next month.

According to fonearena, Vivo X5Pro will go on sale in India on August 15 for no less than Rs 27,980 outright, which is about $440 or €400.

Until then, customers can pre-order the Vivo X5Pro beginning today. Those who pre-book the phone before July 31 will be given the chance to win some great prizes, while one lucky winner every day will be getting a Vivo X5Pro.

Moving on to specs, Vivo X5Pro will be powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with FunTouch UI on top.

On the inside, the smartphone will be equipped with a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The X5Pro packs 16GB storage, but users will be able to further expand internal memory up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Another strong point of the phone would be the 5.2-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

It promises great audio experience

But the most important thing about the X5Pro, according to Vivo, is that if offers a great Hi-Fi audio experience thanks to the custom Cirrus Logic DAC AK4375 audio chip inside.

On the back, the device packs a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 8-megapixel selfies camera.

Other highlights of the phone include dual-SIM and 4G LTE support, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, 2,450 mAh battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
