Shortly after unveiling its new Xperia XZ3 flagship smartphones, Sony confirmed the top-tier phone will go on pre-order as early as September 24. Although it didn't specify when the Xperia XZ3 would hit the shelves, we assumed it will be released on the market sometime in October.

Amazon Germany, one of the largest European retailers has decided to open Xperia XZ3 pre-orders and not wait until the end of the month, as Sony initially suggested. Moreover, the flagship comes with a free 64GB microSD in tow, an offer that's exclusive to Amazon.

Sony announced last week that the Xperia XZ3 will come with a free pair of Xperia Ear Duo earphones, which usually cost $280. However, Amazon has no mention of the offer, so it's probably only available in the United States or other countries starting September 24.

In any case, if you want to pre-order the Xperia XZ3, you'll have to come up with no less than €800 upfront. The phone is available in Black, Bordeaux Red, Forest Green, and White Silver. According to Amazon, the Xperia XZ3 will hit the shelves on October 5.
