Skype announced earlier this week it had decided to bring Mojis and new photo sharing feature to Windows Insiders. The Preview of Skype Integration for Windows 10 Mobile will be the first to receive these new features, but lower versions of Windows Phone will eventually get them too.

But first things first, so let's see what these Mojis are and how Windows Phone users will be able to take advantage of them.
According to developers, in the Preview of Skype integration for Windows 10 Mobile, users will be able to find Mojis in the emoticon roster after switching to Skype mode from the Messaging application.

“With Mojis on Windows Phone devices you will have plenty of ways to express yourself — whether you fancy Minions or Muppets to deliver your happy sentiments, or Sherlock to perfectly convey your cynical response.
The ability to personalize your chat and pull in your favorite TV or movie moments to do the talking for you will be easier than ever,” explains the Skype Team in a blog post.

Also, these Mojis will be available in the emoticon roster in the standalone Skype application on Windows Phone 8 and above.
Mojis will come to Windows Phone 8 a bit later Next in line, the photo sharing feature will provide users with the option to share files and photos. With the latest update for Skype, Windows Phone users can finally share photos via the Messaging application in Skype mode.
As mentioned earlier, these features will first be available for everyone to enjoy in the Preview of Skype Integration for Windows 10 Mobile, while Mojis will be rolled out to the Skype application for Windows Phone 8 and above.

You can now download Skype for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store. The application is only compatible with Windows 10 Mobile devices. Users can also download Skype for Windows Phone 8 which supports the rest of the smartphones.
