Samsung has quite a few Android smartphones in the pipeline, and one of them, the Galaxy J5 (2016), leaked online some weeks ago.

While we still don’t know when exactly the Galaxy J5 (2016) will be unveiled, judging by how often the device continues to pop up online, we believe it shouldn’t be too long until Samsung makes it official.
Today, the folks over at Winfuture.de have published a new set of press renders of the Galaxy J5 (2016), even though the smartphone hasn’t been officially revealed yet.
The handset shown in these pictures features a metal frame and a decent overall design. For those out of the loop, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) is a mid-range Android smartphone, so the fact that it looks relatively good is a plus.
As for the specs, the device is expected to sport a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. Unfortunately, the Galaxy J5 (2016) is said to pack a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset inside, which is a bit old by today’s standards.
Marshmallow is a big plus The good news is the mid-range smartphone will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box. Furthermore, the Galaxy J5 (2016) is likely to feature NFC (Near Field Communication) support, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options.
Another strong point of the handset could be the 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash, and video recording. There’s also a secondary 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
The quad-core processor inside is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
There’s no mention of battery yet, but rumor has it Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) will be initially launched in Europe for less than €250 outright.
