MOSCOW, March 1 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti. Mobile applications that allow users to find out how they are written in other people's phone books, threaten the security of personal data. This warning was made by Roskomnadzor, accompanying the application with a screenshot from the GetContact application, which became one of the most popular in PlayMarket and AppStore.

"By installing such applications, you give him access to all (!) Information (including personal information) from your page or phone." How else can others know how they are recorded or when you were last online? " - the report says.

Unfair developers of such applications, the department notes, can sell the collected database to collectors, scammers or sellers of services.

In addition, the Roskomnadzor is warned that the contact details of the phone can contain information about credit cards, their PINs and passwords from private offices. The department urged users to carefully study the data processing policy before installing questionable applications.
