Microsoft is expected to unveil its very first Lumia phone tomorrow, and even though official details are still missing right now, the company keeps rolling out teasers to stir up interest in this event.

This time, the company has released a teaser video that shows someone unboxing the phone, even though the device isn't revealed in full and only slight details can be spotted.

Despite the fact that Microsoft remains tight-lipped on this new device, it appears that the phone that the company is planning to release is the Lumia 535, the successor to Lumia 530, which has already been spotted in the wild several times before, including in India and China.

The Lumia 535 is going to be a budget phone specifically designed for emerging markets where Windows Phone handsets are really experiencing strong sales, so expect it to be released only to a number of countries.

Low price for decent specs

Even though Microsoft doesn't want to comment on Lumia 535 before the public unveiling on Tuesday, most technical specifications of the smartphone are already known thanks to leaks that took place across the world.

It appears that Microsoft's main plan is to make the Lumia 535 very affordable in order to compete with cheap Android devices in markets were buyers are looking for budget phones, such as India and China. Some people said that the Lumia 535 could be available for as low as $100 (75 euro) without a contract, but the latest information on this pointed to a $170 (135 euro) in India.

At first look, the Lumia 535 brings at least decent value for the money, as the device might come with a 5-inch qHD display and a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor. Dual-SIM support is also likely to be offered, and so is compatibility with several frequencies, among which 900MHz, 1800MHz, 850MHz, and 1900MHz.

In terms of hardware, the Lumia 535 won't disappoint and is expected to come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space, but also with a 5-megapixel primary camera and a VGA one of the front of the phone.

The smartphone won't be too difficult to handle because it'll measure 140.2×72.45×9.32 millimeters and will have a weight of 145 grams.

More information, however, will be provided tomorrow, when Microsoft is expected to unveil not only the Lumia 535, but also some other devices, including the new Lumia 1330. Obviously, do not take all of these for granted until we finally get our hands on confirmed specs.
