Let's say you really, really want the Kinda Blue Google Pixel 2. But the only place to pick up the phone in that color is Verizon, and, well, you're not a Big Red customer. Does that mean that you have to give up your dream of owning this particular model? Not anymore. As it turns out, Google's Project Fi sent out a tweet today to announce that the Kinda Blue Pixel 2 is now available from the MVNO. The price of the handset is the same as other Pixel 2 models at $649, and it can be purchased using an installment plan for 24 monthly payments of $27.04.

If you're not on Verizon or Project Fi, you can still purchase the unlocked Kinda Blue Pixel 2 from the Google Store for the same price. Just keep in mind that in this color, the phone can be purchased only with 64GB of native storage. If you want the 128GB Pixel 2, you will gave to pick from colors like Just Black or Clearly White.

We should point out that Verizon currently has a deal that can give you $450 off the purchase of the Pixel 2. With the trade-in of certain handsets, you can get up to $300 back in the form of a $12.50/month account credit over 24 months. And a $150 Mastercard pre-paid gift card is mailed to you no longer than 8 weeks after you purchase the phone. Of course, to take advantage of the deal, you do have to be a Verizon subscriber.
