Apple is getting ready to unveil iOS 9.3 to iPhone users around the world, but concept designers are already one step ahead and thinking about what iOS 10 could actually look like.

Designer Sam Beckett has created a concept (via MacRumors) that imagines the new UI of the Control Center in a possible major update of iOS, as well as an improved feature lineup that would make it a little bit more helpful when it comes to quick actions available for iPhone users.
Specifically, the concept envisions an increased transparency level of the Control Center, which would lead to a more modern look similar to the one that Windows Phone users are trying to get from Microsoft in Windows 10 Mobile’s notification center.
3D Touch support and dark theme Furthermore, with 3D Touch support, users would be able to access more options for each quick toggle a lot faster, especially in the case of wireless networks or Night Shift (the new feature that will make its public debut with iOS 9.3 sometime next month).
Users can also be allowed to rearrange toggles, but also to replace the default ones with others in a similar way to how you can do on Android right now. And last but not least, the imagined iOS 10 concept points to a dark theme for the Control Center, which could again bring in extra points in terms of looks.
Certainly, this is an interesting concept that Apple should really have a look at, although iOS 10 is still far from getting the go-ahead. At this point, there are no details as to when we should expect the next major iteration of iOS, but there are some voices that September 2016, when iPhone 7 goes live, is the earliest date to see this happening.
And yet, people with knowledge of the matter claim that Apple is actually supposed to announce an update of iOS 9 instead of the next big version, so we might have to wait a little bit longer to get this eagerly anticipated release.
