When we look at the years between 2012-2017, Samsung is a very different company. Maturity’s hit it faster than others, including Apple. It doesn’t seem long ago that Samsung received criticism for making plastic smartphones, with a zero focus on aesthetics. But, now as we take a look at the Galaxy S8+ lineup, Seoul’s miles ahead. With their amazing displays and continuous form factor, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ give every high-end smartphone – including the iPhone X, a run for their money.

However, things move fast in the tech world. In the blink of an eye, we’re at the end of 2017. And with this, come the Galaxy S9 leaks. By the looks of things so far, Samsung will not change much on the device. Its overall design will remain the same, which includes the display as well. But, for the first time in the Galaxy S lineup’s history, the Korean tech giant will introduce a dual camera setup.

Today, Italian publication Keyforweb posts some case renders the Galaxy S9 and S9+. According to it, these are from Amazon Italy. Looking at the details, the first thing that’s confirmed is the dual camera sensor. This setup will appear only on the Galaxy S9+. The second detail corroborated is the fingerprint sensor. It’s relocated below the camera sensors, aiming to improve usability.

Of course, given the amount of information these days, it’s unwise to taken anything as established. We’ve seen some pretty authentic looking images that were proven as fake later surface in the past. Nevertheless, case images often end up being accurate.
