Asus ZenFone 3 has recently been benchmarked on AnTuTu, and test results have revealed some specs of the upcoming device. A post on Weibo shows AnTuTu benchmarking results of the upcoming ZenFone 3. A while ago, ZenFone 3 was also spotted on GFXBench, revealing roughly the same specs as today’s leak.

The upcoming Asus ZenFone 3 will be coming with a 5.5-inch screen and 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution display. It will incorporate a Snapdragon 820 chipset with a quad-core CPU and Adreno 530 GPU graphics. Internal storage is set to reach 32GB, with 4GB RAM capacity.
It’s interesting to see that, for the first time, Asus will be unveiling a smartphone that won’t be coming with Intel chipsets. It is also said that 90% of the ZenFone 3 units will be powered by Qualcomm chipsets while the rest will come with MediaTek chipset.
The handset will pack a 23MP camera and an 8MP front selfie shooter. Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 will be pre-installed.

Three variants in the ZenFone 3 series will be unveiled on May 30

Asus is expected to launch a premium version dubbed the Asus ZenFone 3 Max, as well as a lower-price model named Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe. The latter will have a 5.9-inch screen and 720 x 1280 HD resolution display. It’s expected to incorporate a Snapdragon 615 chipset and 3GB of RAM.

The new ZenFone 3 scored 135,000 points on AnTuTu, which ranks the device just behind Galaxy S7 Edge and Xiaomi Mi5. It remains to be seen if the other two variants in the series will sport the same specs or come with more powerful components.
Some rumors from China suggest that the new device might be priced at $306 (€272), but that remains to be seen.
Asus also officially released a teaser showcasing the three models and suggesting that the unveiling would be scheduled on May 30, during Computex held in Taiwan. The video is entitled "Zenvolution is coming" and teases the fact that the camera on ZenFone 3 devices will offer greater clarity and detail.
