Acer never misses an MWC (Mobile World Congress) trade fair and we believe this year will be no exception. Every year, the company unveils a new wave of Android tablets, the so-called Iconia series.

One of the tablets that might be unveiled at MWC 2018 in late February is the Acer Iconia One 8 (2018), which has just appeared at FCC (Federal Communications Commission). As the name suggests, the slate will feature an 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

As far as the rest of the specs go, Acer Iconia One 8 (2018) is definitely a budget-friendly tablet. For example, Acer's slab is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6781A processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB internal memory.

The back side features a 5-megapixel camera, while in the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel selfie snapper. Other highlights of the tablet include a generous 4,500 mAh battery, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.

Acer Iconia One (2018) should hit the shelves in Q1/Q2 2018 for no more than $150. We're most likely going to learn more about the tablet next month, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
