Question Torrentday & IP torrents crosseeding

    Hello

I download a material e.g. movies, XXX from the TorrentDay.

I seeded the same material back to IPTorrents for rate correction.

There is nothing wrong with this on most torrent sites.

But I know that the owner of IPT and Torrentday are the same. Is there any limitation here to cross-seeding on the two sites mentioned?
The tracker core may use the same database on both sides. Can I get a penalty on these torrent sites for crosseeding (IPT & TD)?

    THX

I have been doing it for quite a long time, this is good practice and should be ok. Thing is sometimes, u cant add the same torrent to your same client, so i have downloaded another client, i have utorrent and qbittorent, and seeding stuff from all the IPT owner sites like TD, scenetime, speed.cd and IPT.

    U shd be good
I usually download stuff from TD or scenetime(latest EVO movies for example) and cross seed on all sites. The advantage of downloading from TD or scenetime is, they have only 3 days of seed time, so just need to seed for 3 days instead of IPT fucking 2 weeks of seed time.

My personal fav is TorrentBD (Bangladeshi tracker), they have good pretimes on english stuff and only 2 days of seed time.

One more piece of my personal advice, if someone already has a good home internet connection, like i have 10Mbps of Upload speed (i get around max 1mbps upload seeding most of the time), u dont have to buy seedbox, its waste of money. I have nearly uploaded 1Tb in couple of months on all private sites combined from my home connection as i work from home these days and spend 8-10 hrs on my PC. So, bottomline is buy seedbox only if ur PC is not open for most of the time or u have crappy upload speeds. Else its a waste of money.

There is lot of freeleech stuff available on these sites, cheers

    Thanks for your reply

Do you really need two client software? Can't solve it from a single client? Are there security reasons for using utorrent and qbitorrent in parallel? For example, due to the inspection routines of TD or IPT trackers.

If u r only cross seeding from 2 or say 4 trackers, then it should be good i guess.
The thing is if the hash check of both the torrent matches in qbittorent from TD and IPT, it wont allow you to add both, it gives an error "tracker already in the list" something. So, if u face such errors, u can download another client, like utorrent, obviously the one which is allowed and then add to that client the same torrent. So, u can solve such cross seeding issues. I seed the same torrent on 7-8 private tracker sites, so such error is common for me, thats why. But the point is Hash check match, doesnt depend on how many same torrents u seed in the client.

This is my IPT seeding list, using 2 clients

If u r not facing such errors, then ignore it. I faced it, so highlighted, as someone in Bluopia userchat as well pointed it out.

    Hope it helps.
