I'm currently under the minimum ratio at 0.813 and I have 5 files seeding right now. Should I just start downloading more freeleech torrents to keep my ratio from decreasing and just keep on seeding until I get enough bonus points to trade it for upload credit?
Get everything that is freeleech. But it's a tough game there, everyone has a seedbox and immediately jump on any new torrent.
@chucknorris I noticed that I don't connect to any peers when I'm seeding old torrents. Is this normal? Would I have to jump on to new torrents so that I can actively seed and increase my ratio that way?
That's the thing with general trackers only the new stuff is being downloaded. Rarely someone downloads the old torrents, at least not before they build up some ratio.
Jump in on any new freelech torrent, if you have fast connection you will get some upload. Lots of guys with big seedboxes there. Without seedbox it's difficult maintaining good ratio on IPtorrents or other general trackers.

search the same torrent file on google.download/complete the file from public trackers.then download the torrent file from IPTorrents and add that to your torrent client.this way the download data will not be count on IPTorrents, only uploaded data will count same as freeleech.
Like mentioned above freeleach is key. Look for those freeleach that are new especially those with a high number of leechers compared to seeders, you are bound to get something from these even with just a good home connection.
Also keep seeding what you have for as long as possible (minimum 336 hours/2 weeks). Recommend having a large drive to store your seeding torrents on and seperate drives for your storage of what you want to keep. The bonus system is really good and helps a lot especially when starting out, the more torrents you have seeding at 100% the better up to a max of 15 before this stops being beneficial.
Upload if you have anything that isnt on IPT.
Even a seedbox for just a month will help you create a good buffer.
Donation is also an option if you have the money.

- Freeleech
- High leecher count compared to seeders
- Seed for as long as possible (bonus points)
- Upload
- Seedbox

Yes once you pass the 15 torrent mark they will stop accumulating and you'll just get the maximum amount allowed i.e. 15 torrents worth, not for example 100 torrents worth.Quote:

But obviously this isnt to say you wont get other benefits like the upload from the torrents. This is just in terms of bonus points.
