I got that same IP Banned message but i just joined there #help and they told me its was finished , not sure whats wrong on your side , i am using mIRC , i could try again and see

To join the IRC #help channel HOW? When ever I try it says your banned

I know the interview window has closed as I have missed the boat because of this issue.

Someone who knows someone there needs to help me.

They have to unban my IP for me to reach their IRC channels (be it #help or #invite).

I have even emailed them @ abuse@morethan.tv with the shot of the irc ban as asked.

I am very surprised as few days ago I was in their IRC #help and regular chat channel regarding when the interviews will happen and they told me "the interviews would be on the last Sunday of every month between UTC 16:00 - 20:00" and suddenly now I can't access it?

They have to ban my IP for me not to connect to their IRC channels

Why don't you get yourself a VPN for this situation? Even if you grab a free one just so you can access the IRC and get your problem sorted...

I use Opera built in VPN if required (rarely) but even with that no luck

Thing is I don't understand I was able to log into their IRC chat + help room few days ago before I came to know about the interview day and time and when on the day 24th Sep I tried I couldn't get in WHY? Reason= (they have banned my IP, needs to unban).

I have even written an email to them abuse@morethan.tv but no reply its like Fort Knox

Please if anyone knows someone there could just kindly ask why is this happening to me and could they unblock my IP so next time I can be there when the interview happens I shall be very very grateful, thanks.

Okay now I have even tried mIRC client and same result so finally proven they have banned my IP no client can fix that until they unban my IP

What have I done to be banned? I am good community member of what ever few sites I am a part off.

I seed-upload more than I leech-download always.

My ratios are always pristine (Have proof to show).

Pity I was too late to the party of freshon refugees because of work I didn't get the chance to check on my few favourite torrent sites but when I did one of them (freshon) was closed dang! I was too late and now I'm suffering. I can't get in the IRC for the interview my sexy a$$ is banned LMAO

I would still try another VPN. The whole purpose of a VPN is to change ISP addresss so unless your using some other detail to identify yourself as a banned user a VPN has to work!

And the banned may not have been you jiya it might be someone else has done the wrong thing and they have banned the whole invite tree.

Okay I tried TunnelBear VPN and still no luck I don't know what's going on? By the looks of it someone here who's kind enough has to send an invite for me to ever be a part of MTV community. I have exhausted all my limitations regarding Chat Clients, VPNs and my Brains I don't know what to do any more

Have you had a friend/anybody you trust with another computer/ISP try to access the IRC? To prove one way or another if the fault is your end or not?

@jiya, i've read the previous posts and it appears they have banned your IP for some reason and VPN doesn't seem to work either. So, at the moment i can't think of something else. I don't know, maybe you could try to do the interview from a friend's computer.

I will give it try and see what happens may be from work lol Hospitals are very strict about this internet use policy, but will give it a go. Also when I get the chance will try from my friend's place lets see, will keep you guys updated with the progress of my tormenting issue

1- Have asked Zubat in traders thread [Have] HDTorrents, privatehd, morethan.tv, hd-space, blutopia, [Want] GGn if he/she can send me an invite fingers crossed.
