HD-Torrents Ratio Warning

So I was slapped on the wrist with my first warning yesterday. I haven't been able to download a single torrent that I actually want. :vollkommenauf:

Instead, I have been targeting -75 and -50 download torrents to try to get my ratio up. I have downloaded close to 300GB. My hope was that I would be able to seed them to get my ratio up. My ratio quickly dropped and I got the warning.

The problem is that there are too many seeders and not enough leechers. My torrents are being seeded to too few people at too slow of an upload rate.

Fortunately my ratio just hit .80 after 24 hours. But I still have this warning on my account.

How long does this warning stay on my account? And what are the best ratio boosting practices?

If you have a seedbox or a good home connection, jump on one of their internal releases as soon as it is uploaded. You will boost your ratio in no time

or just donate to be VIP and bye bye ratio, you good to go ;)

Or just cross seed torrents from others trackers. ;)

Short of donating, this sounds like the best idea. But how can I find the same torrents? Do I need to look at the hash values?

@Rhialto I just wish they had a lifetime donation to get rid of the ratio. :idea:

I'm on a gigabit line and have been hopping on the new releases. But after the first day, the torrents have stopped seeding from me as much. Too many seeders.

they offer 2 years VIP for 100 euros and I think its really worth it, its one kick ass tracker and Kralimarko is my favorite encoder by far..

You just need to find new torrents on hd-t that are already on other trackers. For example i've seen privatehd epsilon remuxes being uploaded on hd-t. You can cross seed those before they are deleted (replaced by internal release). If it were me i would first start off by cross seeding and only after i have 50-100gb upload would i start downloading what i want.

Well, if you’ve already read to all tips above, I’ve nothing to add.
Seedbox+cross seeding will make you safe. I’ve got a 1TB buffer in about a month, so now I am good for a long time.

As for the warning, it should disappear after 3 days if you manage to keep your ratio above 0.70 until then.

An update on my ratio. Overnight it jumped to over 1.0.

I am on my way to 2.0 and I've been promoted twice. :top:

@Rhialto lol. :biggrin:.. you should be experienced enough to know better... KRaLiMaRKo is a remux release group as far as I know they have never encoded anything. I agree KraLiMaRKo is one of the better remux groups out there; not sure if they have lost some of their lead members but they do not seem to be as good as they once were.

I ended up donating so I could download without worrying about my ratio. I downloaded 30TB. My ratio tanked to below 0.10. Fortunately, I got a ton of seed bonuses from reseeding everything I had downloaded. I was able to get my ratio back up to 0.70 just a few days after my donation time had expired.
