I'm worried I screwed up, is there anyway I can fix this if I did?
From the link I clicked to sign up for BitMeTV there was no warning of anonymizing, so I signed up while connected to VPN, now when I went back for to login I see it says no anonymizing aloud... So I haven't logged back in yet, what (if anything) should I do?
@samrl17 Generally no tracker allow vpn or any type of proxy. Many ban member on first attempt. Though now some tracker started to allow use of vpn but for that you have to take permission from staff (they will ask reason for it). Tracker allowing vpn or not can be found in rules/ faq or you can ask about it in tracker forum/ helpdesk.

Well part of my confusion is that I don't see anything about it in the rules/FAQ and in the user agreement, if I'm comprehending it right, actually seems to suggest it? However on the login page is says no anonymizing of any kind. I worry about contacting staff and saying I signed up while connected that I will get banned just by admitting it? Are they known to excuse mistakes? Is this a common accident? I really don't want it to fall back on the person who invited me if I do get banned.Quote:

Come on man, why did you do it? Unless you are very new in torrents world you should've know that NO tracker will allow signup, login, browse, download etc via VPN. Is totally against their rules, and I'm sure you did not read the rules.
I don't think this was a mistake man, but nevertheless will be a miracle if you don't get banned. They will not make a exception for you, actually for no one, from their rules it says once you made a mistake and got caught is bye bye, because there are lots of honest users waiting for a chance there. Anyway you have two options: stop using any VPN you use and start using your account right or keep using and get banned here, and on the other trackers.

At BitMeTV.ORG, there are no second chances for cheaters. There are plenty of honest users eagerly waiting for an opportunity to have an account with BitMeTV, and they will be happy to take your place. We have no need for those who can't be trusted.
This does include cheating on other private tracker sites. If you have been found to be a cheater elsewhere expect to be banned here.

Hope you didn't get ban. Also feel bad for the user since he lost his invite and you couldn't register.

Go ahead and log in without VPN. If something happens (which I doubt) go to their IRC channel and tell them the truth.
