Hi, I got the chance, thanks to @rapidseedbox , to try out one of Rapidseedbox.com seedboxes.

Pros : Great price and really great control over the seedbox too. HUGE HDD space ! You can get access via remote desktop to your seedbox on the chosen OS. Service support is really great too, I've had problem login into my account at the beginning. I opened a ticket and they were fast and helpful to solve the problem, even on holidays.

Cons : I've found the remote desktop UI a little bit slow by times, these are shared seedboxes so that's normal at some times that there are slowdowns, other than that it was a satisfying experience !

I do recommend Rapidseedbox.com seedboxes for people who are looking for huge HDD spaces, lots of control of their seedboxes and great price !

    Hello
I tried recently the 100M15 and I agree that Rapidseedbox provide huge space, full access to seedbox (FTP, SFT, SSH, config file, package installation... very rare) but I left because of lack of stability :
    - Remote GUI access is horrible, disconnected very often, slow to reconnect...
    - Upload speed seems to be very variable
    - Some issue with torrent clients (torrent refused, or don't start / and I check they was OK on other provider)

    Seb

    I totally agree with you,

As far as speeds, that's normal since these are shared seedboxes, you don't get a minimum dedicated guaranteed bandwith like with other seedboxes providers.

I had problems connecting to their web UI and was really slow by times, I thought it was my computer... But then again for the price I think these are great seedboxes for someone who needs great space and unlimited traffic.

The same thing happened to me. I couldn't login to Rtorrent, I couldn't FTP into the box, autodl-irssi had issues. All in all, it took 3-4 support tickets and 3-4 days to finally have a working seedbox. Because of this, I decided to cancel the seedbox for a full refund. I will definitely give them another shot in the future. I think they just need time to work out all the kinks.

I have a 100M25 seedbox. Bandwidth is very good, I haven't found a good speedtest that gives steady results for the speeds but it is constantly way above 50M.
It comes with a Deluge web interface to handle the torrents. Also ssh, ftp and x2go access to the box. the GUI is pretty laggy, but ssh works fine. I have root access to some Ubuntu that runs there, but I wouldn't recommend installing many things because of the performance.

You get an easy interface on the rapidseedbox website to restart or change passwords on your box. So overall pretty easy to handle it. my box is located in the netherlands, I do not know if there is a choice for different locations.

I did set up a watch folder for deluge where I copy the torrent files using FTP in my windows explorer - works pretty well.

I've had RapidSeedbox (lowest tier) for about a year now and what makes it stand out to me is the actual helpdesk. I can usually submit a ticket and I get a response back anywhere from 15min to about 2hrs.

    Good review OP

I will confirm that they are overbooking the servers. My rutorrent interface is horrible. I have a RasPI seedbox at home that is 100x better. It took over 30 seconds for the SSH prompt after the password was entered. Total fail!!!

I am testing out a RSB setup right now. So far my experience has been 3/5.

I have the "Quick" Plan and here are the server specs:

    My Location Western Canada
    My Connection 150Mbps/25Mpbs
    Server Location Somewhere in France
    Server Connection 1Gbps
    CPU Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU W3520 @ 2.67GHz (PassMark Score: 5059)
    RAM 4 GB
    HDD 1 TB
    Root Access Yes
Software Running Quickbox, ruTorrent/rtorrent, Plex, Ombi, Sonarr, Radarr, and Jackett

    Speeds
We have 3 major ISPs here in Canada. When I ran my speed test from my RSB server it was extremely strange. ISP2 and ISP3 were showing "ok" speeds but ISP1 was bad.
    Speed Test

    Plex
Plex streaming is good if I ask Plex to transcode my 1080p films to a 10 Mbps streams. I can't run Plex movies on 11 Mbps or higher without getting buffering lag. I am the sole user for Plex but with the CPU I can support two 1080p streams simultaneously given the CPU's PassMark Score. When I am doing a single 1080p encoding the CPU barely hits 2.4% usage anyways.

    ruTorrent/rTorrent
I have to concur with @Christ Respawns that the ruTorrent interface is slow but that is because of the connection. Bad peering to my ISP. Having two lines to my house I switched to the other ISP and the interface loads much faster.

    SSH Console
There is some lag when you type or interacting with the cursor on the command line. It is not considerable but you do notice it.

    Customer Support
Sweet baby Jesus is it ever quick. Props to them. They accidently charged my account yesterday because of an unwanted invoice I had by accident. Between my email, cancellation, and the refund, it took about 7 minutes in total.

    North American Servers
Their "Stream" line of servers do have some locations in Canada which are currently all full based on the email I just got. They also kindly offered me in an email saying that if I upgrade to their "Stream" line they will automatically move me over as soon as a server in Canada becomes available.
